Hello doctor,
My grandmother is 65 years old. Recently, she started having memory loss. She forgets the door, kitchen, bathroom, and other things. But she remembers old things. Secondly, she makes sounds during the night and during sleep. She sleeps only for about six to seven hours a day. I think she needs some medication by consulting a psychiatrist. Kindly advise.

Thank you for taking help from a psychiatrist. I can understand your problem and concern about your grandmother. She may have dementia with psychosis. You need to take her to the nearest psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation. You can give her the tablet of Risperidone 0.5 mg at night and the tablet Donepezil 5 mg daily in the morning after breakfast. You must do the following tests-
