Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I wanted to marry a guy as I thought I found the one. But these past two months are going bad as he stopped showing me any attention and I told him about it. Then I got tired of it and I broke up with him. When I called him two weeks later, he got angry and hung up. I felt nothing. This has happened before when a guy cheated on me. I was not even sad, and the feelings about him disappeared. How come I do not feel sad or in love anymore when there was a truly deep connection? Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your condition, life has ups and downs, and life does not follow our expectations, rather we have to prepare ourselves that anything can happen in our lives. You can only do your best, if it does not work then find another way out. Aim of life is to live a healthy and happy life. If there is a conflict there is a solution, conflicts have many forms, maybe with people, maybe in our mind and in our personality or behavior. Try to find out what things are causing conflicts and try to resolve it, conflict resolution does not guarantee according to your expectations, life must go on. But the best way out is without being guilt and regret. Get yourself busy at the moment, like good sleep, diet, exercise and busy in your work and give time to your family. If this affects your mental health then get an appointment for further assessment. I hope I have cleared your doubts.

Thank you.
