Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Yesterday, I underwent an ECG and an ECHO, and the reports were normal. Two months back, I had taken the EP study and RFA procedure for heart palpitations. As per the doctor's advice, I am taking Ciplar LA 40 mg medicine.
Since yesterday, I have been traveling and have had no proper rest. On the right side of my forehead, there is something trying to pump or jerk or a sudden movement sensation, not sure if it is related to blood circulation. I am not able to sleep.
Getting worried if any blood clots in the brain or any serious issues are going to happen. Please advise me on which specialist or any tests I need to take further. Two days ago, I had taken 90 ml of alcohol, and at midnight, I felt like my heart was beating a little faster because of this. I consulted cardiology, and the reports are normal. Please suggest a further test.
At present, no other symptoms except on the right side forehead, blood pumping or jerking, or sudden movement sensation often.
Kindly help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
You seem to have developed a migrainous type headache, and you need to get your blood pressure checked and a repeat ECG (electrocardiogram) done. I usually treat such cases after thorough clinical examination with medicine like Flunarizine 10 mg (milligrams) once daily and for a few days, and I give Naproxen for pain relief. You can consult a physician or a neurologist for the same.
I hope it helps you.
If you have any further queries, please ask me.
Kind regards.
