Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a problem with my eyes. I can see nearby objects clearly, but I cannot see distant objects clearly, especially if there is something written at a distance of about 12 to 15 meters. The alphabet appears blurry to me. I experience the same problem when looking at projectors, televisions, or computer screens placed far away. Additionally, my eyes burn regularly, and they water frequently.
Please help me.
Thanks.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
I have reviewed your history. The symptoms of blurred vision for distant objects while having good near vision indicate a refractive error called myopia or short-sightedness. This condition requires treatment with corrective spectacles after undergoing a refraction test. This is a simple test that can be performed by your ophthalmologist or an optometrist.
I advise you to consult your ophthalmologist or optometrist for this test.
Burning and watering of the eyes can be treated with eye drops such as Refresh tears (ophthalmic lubricant, artificial tears), applied three to four times a day.
Kindly consult a specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medications with their consent.
I hope this information will help you.
Thank you.
Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
