Medical Conditions - Nasal Bone Correction

Nasal bone correction is done to correct or straighten a crooked nose. The deviated nasal septum is of cosmetic concern and also hinders nasal airflow. It is also known as septoplasty and involves reshaping, trimming, repositioning, and replacing the nasal septal cartilage and bone. Septoplasty carries the risk of nasal bleeding, septal hole, nasal obstruction, decreased smell sensation, etc. Mostly the procedure is done under general anesthesia but, mild corrections are corrected under local anesthesia.
