Does my nose look really big?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 18 years old and just wondering if my nose is average or actually big.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have seen the picture (attachment removed to protect patient identity).

Firstly, I would like to assure you that you are just perfect and nothing needs to be done cosmetically.

Secondly, if the structure of your nose is causing you any physical ill health, you need to consider a surgical procedure. A deviated nasal septum is a state where there is a tilt in the nasal bridge more than usual. It is nothing serious and a majority of the people do have it. Sometimes, this causes frequent allergies, cold and sinus problems or it interferes with the daily activities. This is the only scenario where you need to consider consulting an ENT specialist in person and follow their advice.

As of now, presuming you have no such problem, you are good to go.
