Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I married a woman with a child, but she is suffering from a tumor (nasopharynx tumor) in her sinus. They have done an MRI scan, and last year they did remove it, and now it is growing again. She bleeds through her eyes, nose, and ears. I have been taking her to government hospitals, but it is not working out, and I cannot afford to going to private hospitals. I do not like seeing my wife suffering. In need of serious help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) report (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity) says that she has adenoid hypertrophy. How come you came up with a diagnosis of nasopharyngeal cancer? Kindly upload a prescription that says so. Adenoid hypertrophy is a common condition and can be cured surgically. Nasopharyngeal cancer is uncommon and requires more serious forms of management. Could you elaborate on her symptoms? Is nasal bleeding the only problem, or Is there nasal block or running nose or headache or reduced sense of smell or snoring or mouth breathing, or dryness of mouth in the morning? Kindly provide us with all details so that we can assess her completely and get you the right diagnosis.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
