Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am having midthoracic pain on the right side and neck pain. I cannot rotate my neck fully to the right side as the pain become unbearable. What should I do?

Answered by Dr. Sugandh Garg

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

  • Use a low cotton pillow.
  • Lie straight.
  • Do not place your arm under your head.
  • Get a chest and a cervical spine x-ray.
  • Maintain strict posture.
  • Use cervical support.
  • Use an analgesic muscle relaxing spray like Volini unless otherwise contraindicated.
  • Get physically examined and investigated to rule out any medical problems and treat them accordingly.
  • Avoid stress-strain exertion, lifting heavy weights, rigorous exercise etc.

Feel free to follow up any time with reports.

I think this helps you.

Thanks and take care.
