Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
I am glad to hear, that you are willing to make positive changes for your health. I know it is challenging, but it is possible with the right strategies and dedication. I hope the following suggestions will help you-
Set short time goals that in sum lead to your main goal. aim for gradual weight loss rather than rapid results. Consistency is the key.
Healthy eating: Focus on eating whole, nutrient-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats. Avoid processed foods, sugary snacks, and excessive calorie-laden beverages. Consider consulting a registered dietitian for personalized meal plans and guidance.
Portion control: Be mindful of the amount of food you are taking. Make sure it fulfills the daily calorie needs. Using smaller plates and bowls can help control portion sizes. Take X grams of protein for your X kilograms of weight (if you are 152 pounds, take 0.152 pounds of protein per day).
Regular activities: Plan to walk at least 10000 steps per day. Also, plan to work out at least 30 minutes a day. Engage in activities that will make you relax like reading, music, yoga, or spending time with your loved ones. This step will help you to reduce cortisol levels or stress hormone, which is one of the main reasons for weight gain.
Sleep: Get seven to eight hours of sleep every day. Avoid using phones or TV, two hours before sleep. Make sure the room is cool and dark.
Health check-up: Plan for basic health check-up tests like CBC (complete blood count), TFT (thyroid function test,) RBS (random blood sugar), BP (blood pressure), lipid profile, and LFT (liver function test). Obesity can also be due to factors like diabetes, thyroid, or cholesterol.
Record your daily progress in a diary or an app.
Most importantly, surround yourself with people who support you.
I hope you find this information helpful.
Thank you.
