What is the Ayurvedic treatment for renal calculi?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 37-year-old male, and I have been diagnosed with stage V obstructed uropathy due to renal calculi.

I tested my urine in the laboratory and attached reports for you to check. But everything is normal, and I have no swelling, no hypertension, no anemia, no BP, and no diabetes.

My urine output is quite good, and I have done dialysis two times a month for three years now. So, can ayurveda help me to restore my kidney?

Please answer me.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

You have stage 4 kidney disease due to obstructive uropathy. For that, only dialysis will help. I also suggest you restrict potassium in your diet and any supplement. Control your blood pressure and sugar level as well.

You cannot rely purely on ayurvedic medication. It can help to some extent.

I suggest you consult a urologist regularly and get treated under a urologist's guidance.

I hope I have answered your question.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.
