Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am looking to inquire about an orbital blowout fracture that occurred three months ago. Two surgeons suggested surgery. One said to wait and see. I am demonstrating 1.5 millimeters enophthalmos (non-noticeable), no diplopia, and no other issues.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
In medical science, it is common to have a different opinion about a medical issue, and in most cases, both opinions are fine. In your case, trauma occurred around three months back, and now there is no diplopia, no abnormal head posture, and no significant issue bothering you. In this situation, I would choose a conservative approach and would like to observe. Surgery is mostly indicated if there is significant enophthalmos or diplopia.
