How serious are ovarian tumors and cysts?
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a cyst in my left ovary and a borderline tumor in my right ovary. My doctor advised surgical removal of both ovaries. I have no child, and I am in my thirties.
What should I do?
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern.
I went through your reports (the attachments were removed to protect the patient's identity).
Your CA 125 (cancer antigen 125) in the blood is very high. It is a tumor marker. So, I suggest you consult an oncologist in your state. Do not delay this. It is better to take precautions. You can consider IVF (in vitro fertilization) to have a baby before going for surgery.
I hope this has helped you.
Thanks and regards.
