Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Three years ago, I was diagnosed with PCOS. I took tablets for it, but it did not get cured. My doctor had then given me tablets to get periods immediately. Currently, for eight months, I have not got my periods and I have lost my prescription. Can you please suggest the tablets to get immediate periods and cure PCOS?

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for trusting us with your health care. I understand your concern and would be happy to help. I have reviewed your history and reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). The symptoms could be due to a hormonal imbalance or pregnancy. Your pelvic ultrasound shows an increase in endometrial thickness due to early pregnancy. I suggest you get a beta-hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) test to rule out pregnancy. Also, I suggest you to get your thyroid profile and hemoglobin test. Regarding the medicines to get immediate periods, as they are prescription medicines, you need to consult a doctor to prescribe them.

I hope this helps.

Kindly get back if you need more information.

Good luck.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
