How to manage premature ejaculation issues?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 34-year-old male. I have premature ejaculation issues. I used Sildenafil suspension once, it was amazing. How often can I use this if I have only twenty days with my partner?

Please suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

There are many reasons for premature ejaculation such as:

  1. Stressful work: Night duties, twenty-four-hour jobs.

  2. Diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid issues have an effect on premature ejaculation. Keeping your blood sugar, blood pressure, and thyroid hormones under control will help you.

  3. On long-term medication related to hypertension and anti-psychiatric medications.

  4. Frequent masturbation or prone masturbation.

  5. Excess porn.

  6. Receiving less foreplay from a partner or lack of knowledge regarding foreplay and female masturbation.

  7. Having an affair gives you a guilty feeling.

  8. Lack of exercise, obesity.

You need to check FBS (fasting blood sugar) and PPBS (postprandial blood sugar) to rule out diabetes, check your BP (blood pressure), and free T3 (triiodothyronine), T4 (tetraiodothyronine), and TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) to rule out thyroid issues.

Management:

  1. You can use a tablet Duralast (Dapoxetine) 30 milligrams as a temporary solution.

  2. Natural method: To increase the foreplay duration during sex, women should receive 15 to 20 minutes of foreplay and men should receive ten to fifteen min of foreplay for a good blood supply to the penis for a long and hard erection. Foreplay should be relaxed. Your partner should learn to give foreplay in a way you do not ejaculate and enjoy.

  3. You can try relaxing music.

  4. Delayed condoms can help you.

Inserting the penis into the vagina is not everything in sex. Sex is not a race duration, does not mean your partner is happy. Love your partner, learn about female masturbation, and give your partner an orgasm or climax.

I hope this has helped you.

Please feel free to reach out to me again if you have further queries.

Thank you.
