How can one increase the size of the penis naturally?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Is it normal for a 40-year-old like me to have experienced penis growth? My penis size increased from 6 inches to 8 inches.

Kindly suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I just read your query and understand your concern.

The average penis length ranges from 2 to 4 inches in the flaccid state and 4 to 6 inches in the erect state, with an average diameter of about 1 inch. Studies suggest that a flaccid penis length of less than 1.6 inches or an erect penis length of less than 3 inches may be considered a micropenis and could warrant medical evaluation and treatment.

A larger penis does not necessarily increase sexual satisfaction for female partners. While the glans (head) of the penis is highly sensitive and contributes significantly to male sexual pleasure, much of female sexual sensation is concentrated in the outer portion of the vagina and surrounding genital structures. Therefore, penis size alone is not a major determinant of sexual satisfaction.

The only proven methods for increasing penis size are surgical procedures, such as removing excess fat around the pubic area, skin grafting, fat injections, or hyaluronic acid injections. In selected cases, penile prostheses may be used to treat erectile dysfunction rather than to increase penis size. Most non-surgical methods have limited evidence of effectiveness.

Jelqing is a manual stretching exercise that involves using a hand-over-hand motion to move blood toward the head of the penis. Although it is often promoted as a natural enlargement technique, there is little scientific evidence that it increases penis size. Excessive or aggressive jelqing may cause pain, irritation, bruising, or scar tissue formation.

Penile traction therapy involves attaching a medically designed extender device to the penis to apply gentle, continuous tension over time. Some studies suggest that traction devices may produce modest increases in length when used consistently for several months.

Vacuum erection devices (penis pumps) draw blood into the penis, temporarily increasing its size and firmness. They are primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction. While they can make the penis appear larger for a short period, overuse or improper use may damage penile tissue and affect erectile function.

Some individuals use massage oils as part of a penile massage routine. However, there is no scientific evidence that massage oils increase penis size.

Please let me know if you would like any further assistance.

Thank you.

Regards.
