If not, it can be a simple bacterial infection for which you can use T-Bact (Mupirocin) ointment for local application and tablet Doxy (Doxycycline and Ascorbic acid) 100 mg twice a day for five days. For itching - you need to think of fungal infection - Candid B (Beclomethasone and Clotrimazole) ointment for local application and tablet Cetzine (Cetirizine hydrochloride and Lactose) once a night.
