Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am worried because I have an hourglass penis shape, and I took the tablet Permen for one month to improve my confidence and performance. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Hourglass penis lesion is called Peyronie’s disease and causes angulation of the penis. It needs to be corrected if it causes a deformity in the penis of more than 15 degrees. If it interferes with sexual activity, it needs correction. Assessment is required for Peyronie’s surgeries, and the surgical options include excisions and grafting. However, it depends on angulation and fibrosis. For less severe cases, I suggest you take intralesional injections. Consult a specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take medications with their consent.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor for the reply,

Please explain in detail about the precautions and treatment. I am worried as I took the tablet Permen for 30 days. Are there any side effects for long-term use?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Permen (L-arginine and Tribulus) tablets have no side effects and are meant for long-term use. No precautions are required. I suggest you take intralesional injections or undergo surgery to correct angular defects.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
