How long does the post-tummy tuck indentation recovery take?

I underwent a plus-size tummy tuck one month ago. The issue began around the tenth day after the procedure. The area above my incision, particularly on the right side, started to become significantly hardened and changed to a brown color. The hardened area has also created a dent in the skin, and as a result, the overall appearance of the surgery is not satisfactory.

The remaining fat will grow and help address the indentation, so it is important to remain patient before drawing any conclusions.

As I mentioned earlier, this can occur in some patients, but over time, the area can blend with the surrounding skin. However, it will take approximately three to six months. Since it has only been one month post-operation, I understand it might feel frustrating at the moment, but you will soon notice improvements as the area takes shape over the next few months.
