Why do I have some fluid coming out of my penis?
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I recently had my total testosterone tested using the CLIA method, and the result was 8.11 ng/mL. The day before yesterday, while I was in the bathroom for bowel movement, I suddenly felt something coming from my penis and noticed a few drops of a slippery fluid. I did not have any sexual arousal at that time. I ejaculate in less than 30 seconds during masturbation and am experiencing erectile dysfunction.
Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
What you are describing is called pre-cum or pre-ejaculatory fluid (PEF). This is a normal physiological secretion released from the penis during sexual arousal, before ejaculation occurs. Its main function is to lubricate the urethra and create a smooth pathway for sperm, allowing semen to pass out easily during ejaculation.
The presence of PEF is not a disease or an abnormal condition. In some men, it may be more noticeable, while in others it may be minimal or absent. When there is little or no PEF, the chance of pregnancy is generally lower; however, it is important to understand that the risk of pregnancy can never be considered absolutely zero.
Episodes of excessive or frequent PEF can often be managed by better control of erotic thoughts and sexual stimulation. This can be achieved through a combination of lifestyle and behavioral measures.
Methods that may help control erotic feelings and reduce symptoms include:
-
Sex education.
-
Regular physical exercise.
-
Proper sleep adjustment.
-
Good-quality sleep.
-
A healthy and balanced diet.
-
Structured use of leisure time.
-
Development of spirituality or mindfulness practices.
-
Taking cold baths.
I hope this has helped you.

Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you for your response.
I am ejaculating in less than 5 seconds, experiencing erectile dysfunction, and feeling pain when I press my testicles. I would like to know why I am experiencing these symptoms.
Please help.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
These symptoms could be due to orchitis. An ultrasound scan is needed to determine the exact cause. Please plan for a scrotal ultrasound and review the reports, after which we can proceed with appropriate treatment. Once the orchitis is treated, the issues with early ejaculation and erectile dysfunction should improve.
I hope this has helped you.
Please feel free to reach out to me again for further queries.
Thank you.
