Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I ejaculated in my pants when my girlfriend was straddling me and sitting on my crotch. As soon as I did, she got off. I had boxers and pants on, and there was a little stain from the semen on my pants. There was no penetration.
Should I be concerned about potential pregnancies?
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
I have read your query, and there is no chance of pregnancy in your case because sperm can not travel and survive on clothes.
Semen in its liquid form travels through clothes, but it also dries out when it comes in contact with air. Sperm cannot swim through clothes, reach the vagina, and make someone pregnant. It is very difficult to identify sperm in semen. So there is no chance of pregnancy in your case.
I hope you found it helpful.
Feel free to ask more questions.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for your response.
We are anxious because she was on top of me for a second or two. But to confirm, semen cannot go through clothes (despite a stain), as there is no actual intercourse or penetration. Hence, there is a zero chance of pregnancy.
Is that right?
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
The chances of pregnancy would be there if there were penetration. Pregnancy can occur if deposition of the semen occurs in the vagina by any means, but in your case, it did not. So there is no chance of pregnancy.
I hope you found this useful.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for your response.
So “deposition” would not include if she sat on the stain on my pants from ejaculation, so there should be zero risks of pregnancy?
Please help.
Thank you.
