Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

This month I had an expected pregnancy, but it did not happen. I got my period this time within 25 days. My normal period cycle is 28 days, and I had ovulation days a month ago, so we tried pregnancy. But it made my periods early. What could be the reason for this?

Please help me.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your health concerns and am ready to help you with this.

The duration of the menstrual cycle is generally 28 to 30 days so the ovulation occurs typically around the 14th day of the process; so the most fertile period for you comes out at around the 12th to 16th day of your cycle assuming that the first day of the menstrual cycle is your first day of your bleeding. If your cycle has been reduced to 25 days and the bleeding has come early this is nothing to worry. The only thing is that the conception did not occur in this cycle, but you should keep on trying if it does not occur for the next two cycles then you can try with some medications.

I hope your query got resolved.

Thanks and regards.
