Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. If you have been suffering from itching in the palm of your hands, or the sole of your foot then it could be obstetrics cholestasis that needs strict monitoring of the fetus and mother's blood tests. Actually, this condition is pregnancy-related and this is subsided as pregnancy will. Abnormal liver function tests, abnormal bile acid, and itching symptoms need strict monitoring. The fetus needs strict monitoring of well-being. You need to check on the movements of the baby if you feel less need to report to the hospital and better have an electronic fetal monitoring graph done. In this case, preterm delivery, small for gestational age fetus, and intrauterine growth restriction could occur. Hemoglobin is also on the anemic side. You need to have at least hemoglobin of 11mg/dl. Have iron supplements along with food like apples, carrots, spinach, etc. Recurrent monitoring of bile acid and fetus will bring the required and better to prepare yourself for delivery to have normal hemoglobin. Go for a walk regularly and it is better to have an oil massage after a bath without cosmetics.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
