Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 46 years old. When I was younger, my menstruation lasted for seven to eight days. When I reached my 40s, my period would only last for two to three days, and sometimes it was four days. Only this month, I think I had my period of eight days, followed by four days of brown discharge. Then suddenly I bled dark red, and I think it was for one day only. Then I experienced brown discharge again for almost two weeks. But today, I am bleeding again, and there was a clot. I am worried. I have been diagnosed with a small myoma of very small size for eight years. Can you tell me what could possibly be the reason for this bleeding? Please help me.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I thoroughly read your query and understand your concern.
Do not worry. As you are at premenopausal age, there will be a disturbance of hormones, and it causes an irregular menstrual cycle. I suggest you do an ultrasound of the abdomen to diagnose clearly. Meanwhile, I suggest you take the following tablets for five days:
Follow up with ultrasound reports after three days. We will suggest you some hormonal preparations if needed.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
