This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 41-year-old male. My height is 6 feet, and I weigh 83 kg, also suffering from erection issues for the last few months. Feeling nervous due to performance anxiety. Premature ejaculation also happens if penetration is done without a condom.

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

You are suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED).

Reason for erectile dysfunction (ED):

• Stress due to work or family-related, night duties, plan for regular exercise and yoga.

• Depression.

• Varicocele ultrasound of the scrotum can help diagnose.

• Fear of failure, having one episode of ED once, may make you feel you will end up with ED.

• Low self-esteem (chronic masturbation).

• Homosexuality, not attracted to the same sex.

• Religious constraints.

• Smoking and alcohol.

• Long-term illness like cardiac disease, thyroid disease, kidney disease, or any other disease with long-term medication

• For a simple vitamin deficiency, you can use the tablet Zincovit and Shelcal.

• Negative attitude towards your partner.

• Hormonal issues like thyroid issues, low testosterone, and increased prolactin.

• Long-term drug usage.

• Diabetes and hypertension.

Need to check Doppler penis, USG (ultrasonography), pelvis, and scrotum, blood pressure, RBS (random blood sugar), free T3 (Triiodothyronine), T4 (thyroxine), testosterone, and TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone). Share more details regarding the above reasons, and we can work on diagnosis and treatment.

You need to plan for regular exercise and a proper diet

  • List of exercises: Basic exercises like Kegels, squats, yoga, running, or fast walking for five minutes.

  • Missionary sex position: Planks, push-ups, mountain climbers, glute bridges.

  • Standing sex position: Bicep curls, pull-ups, jump squats.

  • Doggy style: Jump squats, walking lunges.

  • Cowgirl or the girl on top move: Glute bridges or leg raises.

  • Food: Strawberry, apple, avocado, sweet potato, sesame seed, almond, garlic, and a little chocolate.

  • For a temporary solution, you can use tablet Tadalafil 5 mg twice a day.

I hope this helps.

Kindly follow up if you have more concerns.

Thank you.
