This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am lazy during sex. I am a 29-year-old male, and I cannot control ejaculation. I discharge within two minutes.

I am currently taking Hilagra 25 mg and have taken Vigor plus before.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Ejaculating within about two minutes and having difficulty controlling discharge is consistent with premature ejaculation, which is a very common and treatable condition among men. Anxiety, stress, overexcitement, irregular sexual activity, lack of confidence, and performance-related fear can all contribute to worsening the problem. Sometimes, even overthinking about sexual performance can make ejaculation happen more quickly.

Since you are already using medicines like Hilagra (Sildenafil), it is important not to depend only on erection tablets because the main issue appears to be ejaculation control rather than erection alone. Medicines for erection may help blood flow, but they may not fully improve ejaculation timing if the underlying causes are psychological, hormonal, or related to lifestyle factors.

Your blood sugar levels also appear to be high, and uncontrolled diabetes can gradually affect sexual performance, stamina, energy levels, and nerve sensitivity. Diabetes can also affect blood circulation and sexual confidence over time, so maintaining proper sugar control is extremely important. Regular follow-up with your doctor, taking diabetic medications properly, and following a healthy diet can help improve overall sexual health as well.

Lifestyle modifications are one of the most important aspects to help treat this problem. Exercise regularly, get adequate sleep, manage stress, and don’t smoke or drink if you do. Keeping open communication about sexual matters with your wife will also help you feel more relaxed and confident during sex.

Start and stop technique, squeeze technique, using condoms for decreased sensitivity, and Kegel exercises might be helpful in overcoming the problem gradually. Foreplay, relaxation, and not feeling like you need to perform perfectly every time can also help prevent premature discharge. In some cases, doctors may prescribe you Dapoxetine.

Most importantly, this condition is manageable, and many men improve significantly with the right combination of lifestyle changes, medical support, and stress management.

I hope you found this information helpful. Please feel free to ask if you need any more clarification or support.

Thank you.
