Hello,

I have suffered from acne for years, have a good diet, and wash my face, but I still have red blemishes all over my cheeks and want to know how to get rid.

Kindly help.

Thank you for your query.

I reviewed your picture. Acne vulgaris is a common skin problem in adolescents. In adulthood, it involves pilosebaceous follicles or oil glands and therefore is seen to include areas where oil glands are dense, like the face, chest, back, and upper arms are common sites of involvement. In your case looks like grade 2 to grade 3 acne. I suggest you to follow a few things mentioned below.

  1. Use Faceclin gel (Clindamycin), Nicotinamide cream during day time over pimples, and 3.5 % Microbenz gel overnight over the whole face for around two to three months.
  2. Capsule Doxyiline 100 mg once daily for six weeks.
  3. Avoid spicy, oily, junk food, milk products, and non-vegetarian foods. Use lots of water that hydrates your skin.
