Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a skin issue. Some rashes on my face have been present for a long time, but they do not clear up properly. They stay on my skin and sometimes increase rapidly, and then decrease after two or three days. Please help.
Thanks.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
This is inflammatory acne. For this grade and type of acne, you need to start some oral medicine along with the ointment. I will also add some routine care to be used.
Start tablet Azee 500 mg (Azithromycin) once daily for four days, Clindac gel (Clindamycin) in the morning, Adaplene gel at night, Cetaphil gentle cleanser twice daily, photostable emulgel sunscreen in the morning, and moisturiser hydra cream for three weeks.
After three weeks, we are going to review and accordingly change the medicine if required. No test is required at present; this is inflammatory acne.
I hope this information is helpful to you.
Thanks.
