Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 29-year-old female desperate to lose weight, as I have been obese all my life. Recently, I read an article on how Semaglutide injection has shown great results in helping in weight loss. Can this medicine be used to lose weight? I have also started working out recently. I am concerned if this medication is safe to take without any long-term side effects? Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
All the weight-loss medications are not good for our health because they lead to plenty of side effects like dizziness and severe muscle weakness as well. Anti-obesity medications will also cause such symptoms with serious health side effects.
I would suggest you not use Semaglutide or any over-the-counter medicine as well because these can cause side effects as well. I suggest you follow the below-mentioned instructions if you still want to use it.
I hope this information will help you.
Thank you.
