Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My ECG results are:
Sinus arrhythmia.
Short PR interval.
Incomplete RBBB.
NSSTTWC.
What do these results mean, and am I able to engage in physical fitness?
Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
I am glad you shared your ECG (electrocardiogram). I have reviewed it and would like to explain the following points:
Sinus arrhythmia refers to a variation in heart rate with respiration, which is a normal phenomenon.
Your ECG shows a borderline PR interval, which is also considered fine, and especially reassuring if there is no previous or current history of tachycardia (fast heart rate).
An incomplete right bundle branch block (RBBB) is a normal variant in young people with healthy hearts.
No significant ST-Twave changes (NSSTTWC) likely mean there are no concerning changes in the ST segment or T waves, which is also reassuring.
Regarding your ability to engage in physical fitness, this requires a physical evaluation and, if needed, further tests such as an echocardiogram and an exercise tolerance test. Your cardiologist will perform a physical examination and, based on that, may recommend any further tests or investigations and will advise you about physical fitness.
I hope this information helps you.
Please let us know if you have any further queries, and we will be happy to answer.
Thank you.
