Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I went to the doctor a few months back for a heart check-up since my heart was beating fast. I was told that I might have sinus tachycardia and that I would be fine, but recently, I have been experiencing pain in the heart region. Since childhood, I have been having sharp and deep pain in my heart and chest region, and I used to think that something was wrong with my heart. I have taken an X-ray of my heart, and my family history of heart problems is that my grandfather had a heart attack. Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
We take this opportunity to guide you.
Such pain for a long period can be associated with acidity or gases in the stomach. Pain in the heart cannot persist for so long, and such pain will be severe. Mild pinpoint pain is usually associated with stomach gases. But I suggest you do a 2D echo to check your heart-related symptoms, and we can check if there is anything suspicious. Mostly, there will be nothing to worry about, but you can take it to clear your doubts and get a better diagnosis. For now, I suggest you take the tablet Pantoprazole 40 mg once before breakfast for five days. Please let me know the following:
Please share all the investigations that you have done. I will check and let you know.
I am thankful that you had confidence in me to help you.
Thank you.
