Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 41-year-old female. I recently switched to new skincare products and have noticed rashes and sunburn developing on my face. The rash is sometimes itchy, and I also have sunburn along with an uneven skin tone. Please help.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
First, try to stay calm and avoid stress, as it can impact your skin health. Focus on a healthy lifestyle and proper skincare routine to support recovery.
Maintain a balanced diet rich in antioxidants, zinc, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamins A and C. These nutrients help improve skin texture and support healing. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay well-hydrated.
For your skincare routine, I suggest that you:
Wash your face with Ethiglow face (Kojic acid- 1 %, vitamin C -0.5 %, Liquorice – 1%, Nicotinamide – 0.5%, Blend of AHA and BHA – 1.5 %, Triclosan, Vitamin E, D-Penthenol – 0.5%) wash twice daily for the next two weeks.
After cleansing, apply Physiogel hypoallergenic cream (glycerin, Caprylic/capric triglyceride, shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii), hydrogenated Lecithin, Ceramide 3, and Squalene) to keep your skin moisturized and reduce irritation.
Use a sunscreen like Blendys or Bioderma (Octinoxate, Avobenzone, Titanium dioxide, Zinc oxide, Oxybenzone, vitamin E, and aloe vera, providing broad-spectrum UV (ultraviolet) protection while soothing and moisturizing the skin) at 9 AM, 12 PM, and 3 PM daily to protect your skin from further sun damage.
For pigmentation, apply Melaglow-rich cream (Kojic acid dipalmitate, Arbutin, Niacinamide, Tetrahydrocurcumin, Liquorice extract, mulberry extract, vitamin E, allantoin, and glycerin) only on the affected areas twice a week for six weeks. Kindly consult your doctor and take medicines accordingly.
You can also take one Antoxid HC tablet (nutritional supplement rich in antioxidants) daily after dinner for 30 days to support skin repair from within.
Avoid direct sunlight as much as possible, and use protective clothing or accessories when outdoors.
I hope this helps.
Kindly revert so I can assist you further.
Thank you.
