Sleep deprivation is caused due to constant lack of sleep. Sleeping for less than seven hours a day causes a few health consequences in the body. The consequences are memory problems, high blood pressure, weight gain, low sex drive, and development of imbalance in the body. The initial signs of sleep deprivation are excessive sleepiness, fatigue, and irritability. It is treated by having a good sleep for eight hours a day.
