Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a young male of 24 years with no medical history. I have had continuous throat irritation for three years, but for six months, the issue has gotten worse with excess salivation. A continuous mucus is stuck in my throat, and that feeling is worsening. I also have a partial nose blockage whenever I come across a cold. Further, I am urged to swallow it every 20 to 30 seconds. I also have an issue with excessive sweating, mainly under my arms and on my back. I went to a reputed physician who provided me with medication for two months, but I got no relief from it. These things are troubling me in my professional and personal life. Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Sweating in the underarms and back can be without a cause or due to hormonal changes. You need to do the following:
Use an aluminum chloride talc or solution.
Dip your hands in cold water for 15 minutes twice daily for a month.
Avoid spicy food and alcohol.
You need to drink a lot of water to keep your body temperature lower, and this will reduce sweating.
For nose blockage with mucus collection, you need to take the following tablets after consulting your specialist doctor:
Tablet Deslor (Desloratadine) at night for five days after food.
Tablet vitamin C 500 mg twice a day for 10 days after food.
Do not take any of the above medicines if you are allergic to them.
I hope this information will help you.
Thanks.
