Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a gap in between my teeth with on and off sharp pain. Is this normal?

What should I do?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I saw the query and the picture attached (attachments removed to protect the patient’s identity). I will help you solve the issue. You have dental caries in your teeth. I advise you to take an x-ray to start the treatment accordingly.

It may require root canal treatment as the dental caries are advanced and you have pain. I advise you to replace the adjacent teeth while crown placement after root canal treatment of that dental caries. For temporary relief, do salt water rinse, avoid chewing on that side, do soft brushing, gargle after meals, use mouthwashes and cold packs extraoral.

Thanks.
