Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you.

There was hand massage with oil and then spit on the penis. That is it. Kindly give your opinion.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You would not have acquired an infection or sexually transmitted microbes through saliva coming in contact with the penis unless there is no ulceration over the skin of the penis. Avoid such activities in the future.

I hope this was helpful.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you.

What does unless there is no ulceration over skin of penis means. Kindly explain.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Very rarely, the one who spits on your penis may have bleeding gums. If they suffer from any viral infections like HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), hepatitis-B, hepatitis-C, can shed the virus in saliva in very low concentration. When such saliva comes in contact with skin with an ulcer (a wound over your penis), there are a very low risk of a pathogen entering through the wound.

On seeing your history, there are no chances of infection transmission in your case. Do not worry. Please avoid this kind of circumstances in the future. I hope this was helpful.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you,

No open wounds on my penis at all. And it could not enter from the urethra and affect me that way? I feel like I am most worried about HPV and herpes cause I have heard that they can transfer from mouth to genitals. Kindly give your opinion.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It will not enter through the urethra and affect you. So need not worry. Do not worry about HPV (Human papillomavirus) and herpes. Please get back if you have further doubts.
