Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have had right-side stomach pain for the past three months. So I did a CT scan with contrast and found the attached report. I consulted a general surgeon who gave me 10 day medicine course. However, I want to take a second opinion. Please help. I am taking the following medicines, VSL 3 once in the morning, Signa tenoflam twice daily, and Benizep and Zanocin once at night.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I have studied your CT (computed tomography) scan report and your complaints. It looks like you have a urachal sinus. I want to ask you for more description of your symptoms. Do you regularly have any discharge from your umbilicus? If yes, how much and how frequently? And does it always stay or disappear for a long time and then come back again? Does it smell like urine? Please answer these queries.

Usually, these things we do not need to treat you unless it is causing an issue. But surgical treatment would be required in a few cases. So please elaborate. Follow up for any doubts.

Thank you.

Kind regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
