Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

The lower part of my stomach suddenly has pain. I could not sleep because it was so painful, no matter what I did, it still hurt. But when I applied a hot compress, it did not hurt anymore. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

It sounds like you are describing sudden lower abdominal pain that subsided after applying a hot compress. Sudden and severe abdominal pain should always be evaluated. The fact that the pain subsided with the application of a hot compress might indicate that it could be related to muscle tension or cramping. However, there are many potential causes for abdominal pain, including gastrointestinal issues, gynecological concerns, or urinary tract problems. Given the severity of the pain you experienced, if you have not already done so, I strongly recommend seeking medical attention. Getting an ultrasound can be helpful. If the pain returns or worsens, please seek medical help immediately. Your well-being is important, and a healthcare professional can provide the best guidance and support based on a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Regards.
