Can Tamsulosin and Nitrofurantoin be taken simultaneously?

You have been prescribed Nitrofurantoin, which you are worried about taking in combination with Losartan or Tamsulosin. Tamsulosin is not an antibiotic. Losartan and Nifedipine combination is an antihypertensive containing two medicines. You did not mention the dose of Nitrofurantoin that was prescribed for you. Take the antihypertensive medicine in the morning, and after one hour, you can take Nitrofurantoin. Do not combine antibiotics with any medications. Allow an hour gap and take it separately.
