Hello doctor,

I am in the early third trimester. I wanted to know about medicines, food, and drinks for my baby to be fair, handsome, and chubby. Kindly suggest.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

I want you to understand that the skin color of the baby depends upon the skin color of their parents. I advise you to follow the below-mentioned instructions on food to make your baby chubby and skin lustrous.

1. Consume fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Have three to four servings of fruits in a day.

2. Avoid papaya and pineapple because they are not considered good for pregnant women.

3. Drink at least two glasses of milk every day.

4. Take homemade food.

5. Avoid excessive tea, coffee and caffeinated drinks, spicy and junk food.

6. Sleep adequately for at least six to eight hours a day and try to sleep before midnight.

Normal baby weight should be between 5.5 and 7.7 pounds. An ultrasound can help you determine your baby's weight.

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you.
