How to treat urinary tract infection?

This is a vaginal infection that is coming with urine as well as it is affecting the vagina and the external local area. Have you been experiencing any irritation or any itching along with discharge? Over-treating can affect normal vaginal flora. I suggest you do the following:

1. Have strict local hygiene.
2. Wear soft comfortable cotton undergarments.
3. Use condoms for sex to avoid transmission of sexually transmitted diseases.
4. Take a sitz bath or sit in warm water to reduce irritation.
5. Try to avoid cosmetic products in local areas.
6. Just use water for cleaning and a soft razor to remove hair.
7. You can have garlic cloves which increases immunity.
8. One vaginal pessary on two alternate nights per vaginal at bedtime will flow out the infection. But avoid doing overtreatment as it will cause over and recurrent growth of infection due to weakness of normal organisms of the vagina.
