Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I always get a foul smell from my vagina. I do not know what the issue is, but my vagina smells like a rotten fish. I do not have any itching or infection. Can this be some STD or cervical cancer? I do not have any bumps or warts in that area. I am sexually active with my partner. And we have two children. I have been noticing this foul smell for a week now. Other than the smell, I do not have any other issues. The last we had sex was two days ago. He always uses a condom, but his ejaculate sometimes spills on my genital area. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have been suffering from foul-smelling vaginal discharge that indicates that you have mixed vaginosis or combined bacterial and fungal infection. This can be treated with a course of antibiotics for a week and a course of vaginal pessaries, which are antifungal for the next six days. Please follow up for more queries.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
