Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I would like to know why my veins are so visible. I have fair skin, which could be the reason, but I see a lot of white people whose veins are not noticeable. And I am talking about usual green or blue veins, not spider veins, because I am only 20.
I am really concerned about a few things, like:
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have gone through your case (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Since you have not taken any treatment for any diseases and almost all veins are visible, you need not worry. This phenomenon is exaggerated in some individuals.
Surely this will not do any harm to your health, as these veins are visible for a very long time, and they will persist throughout your life. One more thing, veins in the feet are becoming more prominent because the feet are dependent areas. When we stand, we exert all pressure on our feet. As a result, blood flow to vessels here increases, and it becomes more prominent.
It is not varicose veins, and you do not need to see any more doctors except for reassurance.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
