Hi doctor,
My daughter is a bit chubby compared to other children of her age. She sweats a lot when playing, especially in summer. This has resulted in a white patch appearing on her hands and neck. What should I do to get rid of these patches?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
It appears to be hyperhidrosis (abnormally excessive sweating). Some children tend to develop a fungal infection due to dampness. Just apply an antifungal cream, especially during the summer. Use Onabet (Sertaconazole) cream and apply it three times a day for five days. Regular exercise is necessary. Please do a thyroid profile test.
