Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had sex on my period, and now I am experiencing itchiness and some sores and blisters around my private area. I have tried a sitz bath, which helps, but I would want more suggestions. Maybe I am wrong, or should I see a gynecologist?

Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Regarding your symptoms, I believe you have developed a sexually transmitted disease. Please kindly do a high vaginal and endo cervical swab test and revert. There will be no need to see a gynecologist. Please take the following:

  1. Use 1 % Gyno-daktarin (Miconazole) vaginal insertion.

  2. Take the 400 mg tablet Metronidazole.

  3. Take capsule Co-Amoxiclav 625 mg.

  4. Take a tablet Ketoconazole 200 mg.

  5. Take the tablet Acyclovir 800 mg.

If your symptoms persist, schedule another follow-up appointment via chat, phone, or video consultation.

I hope this information will help you.

Thanks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
