What does my endoscopic biopsy suggest?

Hi doctor,

I am working as a software professional. Recently, I had discomfort in digestion, severe bloating, gas formation and a frequent sensation of motions. I went to a gastroenterologist and he made an endoscopy and an endoscopic biopsy. The biopsy report is as below. Nature of specimen: Received single grayish white mucosal tissue bit measuring 0.3 cm. The entire tissue was processed. Macroscopic examination: Section shows single small gastric mucosal bit with superficial erosion of surface epithelium in the focal area. Foveolae and glands are unremarkable. Lamina propria shows moderately dense, diffuse infiltrate of lymphocytes, a few plasma cells and a rare polymorph. Lymphoid follicle formation is seen in one focus. Scant muscularis mucosae included shows no significant pathology. No definite H.pylori, intestinal metaplasia, glandular atrophy or dysplasia or malignancy noted in the section studied. Microscopic examination : Moderately dense, diffuse chronic inflammation in stomach (endoscopic) biopsy. I had antral gastritis a year back and took medication for some time. I am always eating outside food, but nothing spicy. I am currently taking Razo-D in the morning and Razo 20 at night.

Despite normal gastroscopy, I am having gas and bloating issues. Please help.

Hello doctor,

I am 29 years old. I was having stomach pain, acidity and bloating since a year. So, I did an endoscopy as advised by my doctor. The report showed H. pylori positive. I finished the full course of medication as directed by the doctor and I felt better. Then, I switched to a new place. After relocating to the new place, my pain and acidity subsided. But, I do feel bloated and gas especially in the evening time. Again, I had a gastroscopy, but nothing came out of the report. I am still having gas and bloating issues at night. Also, recently, I am having dark stools. Please advise.

Please suggest medications for upper abdominal cramps due to recurrent pancreatitis.

Hello doctor,

I am diagnosed with repeated pancreatitis. The advised diet is working to decrease cramps, gas, and belly bloating. I have one question. Is there any medicine to reduce the cramps especially in the upper abdomen? My last blood check showed normal levels of amylase and lipase enzymes, the CT with contrast chemicals two weeks ago showed mild pancreatitis. If I do not follow the diet, for example, if I eat low-fat chicken meat and have some alcohol, I get the symptoms. Can Librax help my pain?

Please suggest a permanent cure for my abdominal pain.

Hi doctor,

For the last one month, I have abdominal distention, indigestion and dyspepsia. I feel pain in the abdomen, bloating, nausea and burping. The pain in the abdomen recurs after a few hours. It is more frequent during daytime (mostly after taking the meals) and less during the night. I have made the following diet changes. I have dropped tea and citrus fruits (oranges) altogether. I am taking black grapes, ginger with salt and honey before sleeping. Please suggest suitable remedies for the early and permanent cure of the ailment from the reports attached.

Is prostate cancer hereditary?

Hi doctor,

My father was detected to have prostate cancer, but they did not give any stage of his cancer. I am worried about his prognosis. How long he would survive? They have removed his testes and advised him to take Andro Block for life time. They used the term highly suspicious of prostate cancer. The Gleason score was given as 3+3, PSA 7.09. We do not have a family history of prostate cancer or any other cancer. Is it hereditary? I am attaching my father’s report here for your reference. Is there a chance for me to get cancer in the future? I have taken my PSA and it is 0.8. Should I regularly do PSA? I am 38 years old. All my tests, including DRE are normal. I do not have symptoms as such. Should I go for a biopsy?
