Is the tooth bump in a normal shape or a cause of concern?

I have a bump on one of my top row teeth (it is located on the inside of the tooth, not noticeable from outside) that seems to be quite hard. I picked at it out of habit thinking it was a piece of food but it seems to be on the tooth. Is this just some uncommon tooth shape or is it something else?

How to treat severe pain after a deep cavity filling?
Hello doctor,
I had a deep cavity filled about five weeks ago. I had extreme sensitivity to cold since it was filled. I had no other pain associated with the tooth. Biting down was completely fine. Two nights ago, I started to get extreme pain on the right side of my face and jaw (the same side the cavity was filled). It was keeping me up all night. The next morning, the cold sensitivity was completely gone, but the extreme pain on the right side of my face and jaw would come and go. Later in the day, I flossed, and the tooth associated with the cavity started bleeding. Now, it hurts extremely bad to bite down on that tooth (where the filling took place and where I flossed). The throbbing pain on the right side of my face is occurring more frequently but still, comes and goes. I have a root canal scheduled for next week on that tooth, but is that what is wrong? Why did the pain change from cold sensitivity to this completely different type of pain over night? I do not think I can deal with this pain for another week. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Will the lower teeth touching the veneers on top teeth cause any problem?
Hello doctor,
I have composite veneers on both of my front teeth. Sometimes, if I sense my bottom teeth touching the bonded teeth, even lightly while eating or brushing or what have you, I worry that since enamel is stronger than the bonding material, this will somehow alter the bonding. Is this possible? Thank you in advance for your insight. I spent a lot of money on the procedure and want to know what exactly would need to happen as far as my bottom teeth making contact with my top teeth in order to actually alter the appearance.
