Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am an 18-year-old boy. I have a big problem with my teeth. I did not brush them for the past two years. So, most of the teeth have started yellowing and have got caries. My dentist told me that it will change when I start brushing them, but it is not the case. I want my smile back.
Please help me.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Looking at the condition of your mouth (attachment removed to protect patient identity), I can say that you have got a lot of dental problems, like dental caries and discolored teeth with stains and tartar. These problems are causing the bad breath, which is not going to go away with only tooth brushing. You require a systematic treatment plan for your mouth, like scaling, finishing and polishing, filling up the various teeth, and extraction or root canal treatment, depending on the condition of the teeth. But the good news is that your condition is very much treatable. So, you need not worry. You just need to visit a good dentist who can take care of all your problems.
I hope this helps.
