Why am I having infection after a month of getting treated for yeast infection?

Hi doctor,

I have been treated with for a yeast infection and given antibiotics last month end and then last week had another infection (milky like discharge no smell). Is it advisable to wait for one month to be seen by my gynecologist or go to an urgent care right away?

Is it normal to have a lot of free fluid in POD while trying to conceive?

Hi doctor,

I am 32 years old female. I went today for the third follicle scanning on the 18th day. It showed the rupture of follicles, and there was a lot of free fluid seen in a POD. But in my second follicle scanning, on the 14th day, it showed no free fluid. Is it healthy to have free fluid or something wrong?

I had unprotected sex and took ECP tablets. Why am I not getting periods?

Hi doctor,

I had unprotected sex with my fiance. After sex, within 48 hours, I took two ECP tablets. After taking it, bleeding started for two days. My menstrual date was a week back but I did not get it. Also, I face some kind of a different taste in my throat, have a headache and troubled heart. In every month I take one dose of ECP and every time when I take ECP, bleeding start for two days and I successfully get my periods. But now after sex, I took ECP and the same bleeding started for two days but I did not get my periods. Is this any sign of pregnancy or any infection or whatever?

Does prolonged use of oral contraceptives increase risk of breast cancer?

Hi doctor,

I am 20 years old, and I am a single child. I have been taking oral contraceptive TriNessa for about one and a half years. I have been trying to know whether this pill can cause breast cancer after a more prolonged period of use. The occurrence of breast cancer in my family was with my maternal grandmother. She got it around her 40 years of age. My mother is at the age of 50 and does not have any sign of it. Should I need to change my method of contraception? Or is it safe to keep this one? Currently, I am taking Claritin.

What could be the reason for vaginal spotting between periods in a 14-year-old girl?

Hello doctor,

My 14-year-old daughter got her first period a few months back and had it for a month. Yesterday she went to the bathroom and saw some blood when she wiped her vagina. But she had no stains on the pantyliner that she had worn for 2 hours that day. She thought her period was starting again, so she put a pad on. But until today, she has not menstruated, not even a little bit, or had vaginal discharge or spotting. Why is this happening?

Thank you.
