Why is gestational age not the same as LMP?
Hello doctor,
I am 27 years old and pregnant. My last period was two months back but the baby only shows six weeks and three days gestation as of today with a heart rate of 77. I have a picture of my ultrasound from today and I was hoping you could explain what it was showing.

Why to take dual markers and other tests during pregnancy?
Hello doctor,
I am 12 weeks pregnant. My age is 38. My doctor prescribed dual marker test. My PAPP-A report is 1.88 mIU/ml, while FB-hCG is 28.2 ng/ml. NT is 0.90 mm (.65 MoM). Biochem risk +NT is 1:4730, age risk 1:189, trisomy 13/18 + NT is < 1:10000. I am worried about my reports, whether it is normal or is there any risk. My weight is 116 lbs. It is my second pregnancy. I have 3 years old child and completely normal. However, no test of this type was done earlier.

Suggested tests before unprotected sex with lesbian partner?
Hello doctor,
I would like to ask some questions that I am sort of afraid to ask my gynecologist because I am not sure if she is tolerant of homosexual people and that is holding me back. I would like to know what kind of health tests should I run to make sure I can safely have unprotected sex with my exclusive lesbian partner? During my last visit to the gynecologist I had cytology and now I am waiting for results. If that comes back clean, does it mean fully that I am free of any sexually transmitted diseases or HPV or do I still have to have some other tests to run? Is it appropriate to ask to have those tests made at a clinic or only if I show any worrying symptoms? I have had only one sexual partner before I engaged with my current girlfriend. We were each other's first partners. The last question I have is, is it irresponsible to have unprotected lesbian sex in a committed relationship if both people are tested? Are there still any health risks?

Is the presence of squamous cells in Pap smear normal?
Hello doctor,
I got a Pap done last week and I got the results back today. It says I am negative for an intraepithelial lesion of malignancy (NIL). And under specimen adequacy, it says satisfactory for evaluation. Endocervical and/or squamous cells (endocervical component) are present. What does this mean and should I be concerned?

I want to ask that is there any method with which we can have periods earlier than due date? Also, if we can use any tablet to delay monthly periods?
