I have no feeling in my tongue after having wisdom teeth pulled. What should I do?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. If you had all the wisdom teeth pulled out in one shot, then you should have been given a lot of numbing injections on all the four sides of the mouth. In that case, the injections given for the lower jaw numbness would be the major reason for your tongue numbness. Do not worry, you will definitely get back normal sensations in your tongue shortly as the nerve cells regenerate and it usually comes along with short pricking sensation. With regards to biting your tongue at night, I suggest you wear a customized mouth guard for a while.

Should I get braces for protruding teeth and triangle gaps?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I have read through your complaint and the relevant details. You have mentioned that your front teeth are protruding, large, and that creates a space with the lower teeth. With these, I am pretty much sure that you might need braces (fixed orthodontic therapy). But a proper analysis of your teeth in position, along with your skeletal outline, is the factors which decide that you need braces.

What causes pain in the jaw while eating and talking?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I am here to answer your queries. The signs and symptoms that you have described are typical of temporomandibular joint disorder. The pain in the early mornings, the clicking sound of the jaws, and the deviation of the mandible towards one side are classic symptoms. The reason is that the joint lacks a cushioning effect and slides roughly between the two bones, just like in the knees, and the pain is because of muscle fatigue.

Is it possible to correct front teeth length with veneers?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. I saw the photograph you have attached (attachment removed to protect patient identity) and I found that your front two teeth look bigger, but it is not, though. They are slightly forward from the dental arch (protruding front). By the law of nature, all four front teeth will not be of the same size and if it is so, then it will look very artificial. Regarding the braces treatment, you have been asked to remove all the fourth teeth from the center (premolars) to gain space.

Hello,Welcome to icliniq.com.I have read your complaint and the relevant details.Using gauze instead of cotton balls does not make a big difference. Again, that does not mean you will get infected by any disease immediately.

How can I get rid of severe toothache?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. Firstly, I would like to say that a simple filling cannot be a treatment for a tooth in pain. The pain itself occurs only because of an infection inside the tooth. Yes, as the other dentist said, it could be a dental abscess. You have also mentioned that you have severe pain, which means there is definitely an infection underneath.
